2009年9月，國際攝影協會首屆會員代表大會召開，來自包括中國、美國、俄羅斯等世界各地的70多位攝影師代表出席了大會，趙旭新當選為國際攝影協會主席。

2009至2014年第1至5屆國際攝影網絡大賽評委；

2010年至2013年第1至3屆國際攝影藝術展評委；

2010年首屆“百鳥之都魅力威寧”國際攝影大賽評委；

2012年平遙國際攝影展精英作品展策展人、組委會特邀演講嘉賓；

2012年連州國際攝影展IPA會員精品展策展人；

2012年鳳凰國際攝影雙年展IPA會員精品展策展人、組委會特邀演講嘉賓；

2014年中國矚目的“聚焦張家界千名攝影師采風活動”總策劃，成功組織了1200多名攝影師參與活動，并取得圓滿成功；

2014年法國布列塔尼St Brieuc 國際攝影節評委，期間在法國布列塔尼市政大廳發表演說，成為中國攝影界第1人。推薦的中國攝影師參展獲得1萬歐元特別獎；

2014年美國“艾美獎”國際攝影展評委；

2015年受邀成為第二屆愛爾蘭國際沙龍攝影展評委。
2016年6月，國際攝影協會第二屆會員代表大會召開，來自包括中國、美國、俄羅斯、法國、英國、塞爾維亞等世界各地的300多位攝影師代表出席了大會，與會代表一致提名趙旭新連任國際攝影協會主席一職。

現為：國際攝影協會主席、廣州國際攝影協會會長、香港國際攝影學院有限公司董事長、聯合國文化總署廣東執委會攝影專業委員會主任、廣州總裁商會名譽會長、廣東自駕旅游協會副會長、《國際攝影》報刊總編、國際攝影網（ipa001.com）創始人、中國攝影家協會會員、中國公安文學藝術聯合會會員。

趙旭新先生，從事攝影30年，他既是一名攝影師，也是一名攝影組織者，常年擔任國內、國外許多大型攝影賽事的評委；他對攝影有獨到的理論及見解。他曾在法國、美國、新加坡、韓國、北京、廣州等多地主講《成功的秘訣》，《成功的秘訣》濃縮了趙老師多年的攝影心得，他從攝影人如何明晰找到自己的定位，如何在賽事展覽中獲得好成績，尤其是在國際比賽中如何提升自己的知名度，如何提高作品的審美價值等問題以圖片、案例的形式展開論述，解答了攝影人遇到的疑難問題及困惑。

Introduction of XuXin Zhao

XuXin Zhao, Male, Born in May 1959. Stepped into photography profession since 1985 and has been actively working on photography until now, more than a thousand of photography works and theoretical articles have been published in domestic and abroad, hundreds of works have won awards also.
September 2009, The first congress of International Photography Association(IPA) was held with attendance of more than 70 professional photographers from different areas in the world. XuXin Zhao was elected to be the chairman of IPA.
2008 - 2014, The honored judge for IPA international photography Cyber Competition from Session 1st to 6th.
2010 - 2013, The honored judge for IPA international photography Art Exhibition from Session 1st to 3rd.
2010, The honored judge for first session of International Photography Competition themed by “ Heaven of Birds -- Charming WeiNing”.
September 2012, Exhibition Curator for PingYao International Photography Exhibition of IPA outstanding works. Invited Guest Speaker by organizing committee.
November 2012, Exhibition Curator for LianZhou International Photography Exhibition of IPA members’ masterpieces.
December 2012, Exhibition Curator for Two-Year Phenix International Photography Exhibition of members’ splendid works. Invited Guest Speaker by organizing committee.

Mr. Xuxin Zhao was selected as the Chairman of International Photography Association in the Second Session of Member Representative Conference of the International Photography Association (IPA) by over 300 candidates from China,The United States of America, Russia, France, the United Kingdom, Serbia in June 2016
